I have been teaching and performing for almost 10 years! I really enjoy 1-on-1 instruction and the special attention I can give a student during lessons. Over the years I have loved seeing students grow and mature on their instrument because of the time they put into practicing and private lessons. I graduated from Kansas State University's School of Music, Theater, and Dance with a BA in Music Education, with an emphasis in percussion. While at KSU I played in the marching band, which was recently awarded the Sudler Trophy for outstanding collegiate level marching. I also performed in the top wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, and jazz bands. I recently taught middle school beginning band and high school band for two years. After moving just a few months ago, I have been working as the drumline instructor at a high school in the Kansas City area. I look forward to meeting more students in the area and online!
