Nice to meet you! I have 21 years of experience as a head band director. During these 21 years, I taught students from 6th grade through high school. I attended the University of Oklahoma and have orchestral experience, as well as experience conducting an adult community band and am an assistant director of music for a church. I conduct, rehearse, and continue to play professionally. I absolutely love teaching and cannot wait for you to learn! You will find playing an instrument a fun challenge that opens many doors to your future. You will learn skills that not only pertain to being a musician, but also skills that will help you in other areas of your life. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I can't wait to give you your first lesson!

Craig Amendt is a fantastic teacher. He was my first band teacher ever and taught me private lessons for the first few years on my instrument. He instilled a love of music in me that carried me all the way through college and is still huge part of my life. I’m now a music educator as well and it may have never happened if Craig hadn’t been my first teacher. I highly recommend Craig as a teacher because he is passionate and dedicated, and he will give you the tools to be successful no matter what age or level of player that you are.
