PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization of over 4,500 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians. The present membership evolved from a small group of band directors dating from 1933. Today, the organization includes those engaged in music instruction at all levels, from preschool through college and university, as well as those in the music industry, merchandising and publishing. The organization promotes and supports quality music education, learning and performance as well as promoting and supporting music education in schools and communities. PMEA is affiliated with The National Association for Music Education, NAfME.

I have been teaching for 11 years. My philosophy as a teacher is that music should be FUN! I will do whatever it takes to meet the goals of my students, and make things fun while we are learning and improving. I am a firm believer in the "work hard, play hard" philosophy, so I think it's important to supplement etudes and solos, with duets and music that is relevant to the interest of the students.

I taught orchestra in a public school for 11 years, and I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in music education from two accredited colleges. I now teach private lessons out of my house as well as online. 

I am an active violin and viola player within my community. I play with the West Shore Symphony Orchestra, as well as for various events, weddings, and musicals.
