Highly educated, experienced teacher offering violin, viola and piano lessons. Dr. Grant received her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from West Virginia University, her Master's from the University of Delaware and her Bachelor's from Penn State University. She has been teaching privately for over 15 years and also maintains a very active performing schedule. She can frequently be found playing with any number of local orchestras including Pensacola Symphony, Mobile Symphony and the Meridian Symphony among many others.

Lessons are highly customized to fit each student's own personal learning style and goals. While basic technique and theory is thoroughly covered lessons can also include music covering a variety of styles including bluegrass, folk, jazz, showtunes, etc... Anything you want to learn is fair game!

Courtney is an enthusiastic, energetic and engaging teacher. She takes time to get to know each of her students as individuals so she can tailor her teaching methods for every individual. She has experience teaching students ranging in age from 3 to 75. Her students have gone onto major in music at conservatories and universities, attend high profile summer music programs, and contribute to their local community church and music programs.
