I primarily use Alfred's Teaching Method. If a student comes to me from another teacher, I will continue to use what they are familiar with. My youngest student's enjoy the Little Mozart series. I use the Prep Course for elementary students, Premier or Basic course with late elementary learners, Late Beginner course with teenagers & adults. This is a guideline. It's always best to meet the students/parents to see what works best for them. Piano lessons are not a cookie cutter method. I tailor them for each individual's learning type & music preference.
I have taught piano lessons for about 20 years. In July, I made it my full-time job. We currently have 40 students on the roster, ages 5 - Sr. Citizen. All levels are welcome.

PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization of over 4,500 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians. The present membership evolved from a small group of band directors dating from 1933.
