I've been teaching piano for three years. I specialize in beginning to intermediate pianists and love using games to learn notes, written activities, duets, and pop songs to enrich students' learning experience. I use the Music Tree series for children ages 5-9, and for older children and adults, I use Alfred's Piano Library curriculum.

Corinne is a friendly, caring, instructor and provides a stress-free learning environment. All styles, levels and ages are welcome. She teaches pop, musical theatre, classical, and jazz. Corinne holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Vocal Studies from Michigan State University and enjoys teaching children and adults how to sing. All levels, styles, and ages are welcome. :) Corinne was a vocal director for Rock and Ridicule, a rock and roll musical performed at the Acme Comedy Theatre in Hollywood. She also was the music director for Act I Children's Theatre in Sherman Oaks. Currently, Corinne is music directing an after school musical theatre class at Wilbur Elementary School in Tarzana. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons with me are fairly laid-back. I use the Alfred's book series for piano students. For voice students, I tend to stick to genres the students are interested in learning and choose songs based on the student's abilities and levels and work up from there. *** Studio Equipment *** Piano, music stands, music *** Travel Equipment *** None. I expect piano students to have a keyboard or piano at home. Voice students will not need any special equipment. *** Specialties *** I hold a degree in Jazz Vocal Studies and I also specialize in musical theatre.

Corinne is a wonderful teacher! She is patient and has such a positive energy. I always leave my lesson feeling better than when I came in. She's very knowledgeable and wants the best for all her students. She can teach any age! I'm a 25 year old beginner and thought it would be difficult to learn and keep up with playing the piano, but Corinne supports and inspires me. I can't recommend Corinne enough.

I have been wanting to play an instrument for such a long time, but never had the motivation to try it, until recently. Wanting to play Piano was a spur of the moment decision for me. I googled piano teachers in my area and Corinne was one of the first people to pop up. After reading all her rave reviews, I decided to give it a go. I was so nervous for my first lesson, but she made me feel comfortable and at ease the minute I walked through the door. She is educated and passionate about music. Also, she is extremely patient. I have been going to her for Piano Lessons now once a week for almost 6 months and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I absolutely, without a doubt, recommend Corinne. She's amazing!
