The number one rule I follow is to treat every student as an individual and discover what they need to be successful. I currently teach my 12 year old brother and I've found that in order to get the best from him that I really do have to be the older brother sometimes instead of a teacher. I've seen this transfer to my other students and their parents have not only seen improvement on their horns, but also an improvement in their social skills and attitude. This, I believe, is what makes lessons with me a valuable experience for your child or developing student!
