Corey Colmey is an active educator, performer, clinician and recording artist based in central NY.

His teaching experience includes private lessons for drum set, concert percussion, world percussion, as well as ensemble programs for children and adults. In addition to his current teaching posts at Utica College and Herkimer College, he currently runs Corey Colmey Drum Instruction, a private teaching practice in Rome, NY where students of all ages can come to study drumming in a relaxed atmosphere.

He has traveled all over the US and abroad, sharing the stage with an array of artists including G Koop, Fiber, The Fading Collection, Edan, Benjamin Wright, 3 time Grammy Award winner Don Grusin, Jeff Palmer, Rick Montalbano, John Rohde, Joe Magnarelli and Marc Seales.
