Hi! Thank you so much for visiting my page and for considering me to be your new guitar/bass instructor. The main reason I think I would be a good fit to teach you is my 15+ years experience as a performing musician. I can show you how to be proficient on your instrument, which while maybe the most important aspect of learning to play, isn’t absolutely everything. Many of your favorite musicians are probably not virtuosos, believe it or not! Playing music with other people has a lot to do with feel, vibe, and knowing how you fit into the equation. No one likes to play with the guy, gal, or person who needs to solo non stop. A little bit about me. I have been playing music in bands since I was about 12 years old. I attended Musicians Institute in Los Angeles for guitar performance. My old band played at some big festivals such as SXSW and Voodoo experience and has three records out. My current band, Karma Vulture, plays all over the Los Angeles area and has an EP out with another soon to follow. In closing I can teach you what it takes to play music with other people effectively, as well as a host of other crucial skills associated with playing an instrument.
