As a experienced teacher, I enjoy working with students of all ages and levels; I find joy in the energy of children and admire the love older students have for music. My priority is in the interest of the student and maintaining a pleasurable (yet educational!) environment for all students. Although I am classically trained, if you are interested in learning something fun and non-classical, of course that can be arranged. Piano lessons do not need to be intimidating!
I am currently based in Boston and would love to work with anyone who has a passion for music!
Please feel free to ask about scheduling and location as specifics cannot be detailed on this profile. I am pretty open so don't be afraid to ask!
*currently at the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado and will be returning to teaching in Boston in September.
As an assistant to the main piano teacher, I prepared students for lessons, oversaw their practicing, and occasionally taught chamber music.
· Classical Piano · In home First and foremost, Connie is an exceptional pianist and individual. I had the pleasure of being her classmate and colleague a couple of years ago and was consistently impressed with her convincing approach to sound production and sensitivity at the piano. Her thoughtful and elegant approach to music translates directly into her presentation as a teacher and person. Her ideas are to the point, extremely relatable and constructive on all levels. She would make a superb choice for all ages and abilities!
· Classical Piano · In studio Patient, caring, consistent reliable teacher. She was very much loved by all the students she was in charge of.
