Piano with Collin M.

I began taking piano lessons at age 9, tuba at 12, and guitar at 13. I received a full scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Monticello for tuba, jazz guitar, choir, and piano. I have always been interested in music theory and the way modes relate to each other, diatonic or parallel. I learned early on how to improvise over chord and key changes and which scale/position to use to give the mood or feeling I was after. Students can expect a laid back, relaxed environment and focus on building a relationship as well as a musician. I also offer recording / studio training and studio time can be purchased per song for recording.
