Hi to you all!! I’m a respected 35 year veteran of Broadway musicals- and have done over 21 Broadway productions- the original company of ‘Cats’ , 10 productions with Stephen Sondheim, the role of Donna in ‘Mamma Mia!’ In the First Nat’l Company, Mother Courage w MERYL STREEP at the Public Theater to name a few. My passion is to show singers that you can have a healthy beautiful free voice for as long as you sing! No tension, natural production of breath and vowels in ANY STYLE. I work with all ages and my style is very adaptive to each student. I work with your material - or any songs that you like to sing- not scales- and teach the technique thru that method. It works! All I need is you and your voice- and if you would like your second device w a karaoke version of your song- or an internet version. Singing Is Talking On Pitch! Yes, it is!

Colleen is the consummate professional teacher, able to mine her infinite depths of experience and break down the “hows” and “whys” behind her teaching points. Great writers can rarely “teach” people how to write b/c they can’t explain their own process. Colleen is the opposite - it’s almost as if she can remember every step she learned along the way of her illustrious and colorful career and can break down and translate a teaching moment for any student, of any age, at any experience level. She can also balance professionalism and jaw-dropping credentials with a wonderful sense of humor and a down-to-earthness that gives students the confidence to go out on a limb and give her their best! In other words, she’s the kind of teacher everyone wants to please...very powerful motivation for learning!

In a few weekly sessions Colleen has enabled me to release my thin, tight voice from a stranglehold, and I'm amazed by the volume, color and accuracy that's now possible. Apart from being a stunning performer, Colleen is a remarkable, delightful teacher. The lessons are a complete joy, and so is singing!

Colleen has coached our band, including musicians and three vocalists, to a level we could never have achieved without her. She gets measurable results in just one session!
