As a teacher, I will try to cater to your personal interests and focus on what kind of playing excites you as opposed to more standardized forms of learning. I'm not a huge fan of books or being a slave to the music theory, I like to teach feel and help each person find his own interpretation and approach to the guitar. However, if you just want to take it slow and get the basics down I am more than happy to help.

I am 20 years old and currently attend the University of Kansas where I study Behavioral Neuroscience and Pre-med. I am willing to tutor students of any level and am pretty flexible in the subjects I can tutor. Along with tutoring, I also teach guitar lessons to players of any age or level. I am currently in a local band called Shades of Blue and have experience playing rock, blues, and acoustic guitar in both the recording studio and in live settings.
