Guitar with Cole H.

Currently working on my Bachelor's of Music degree, in Classical Guitar performance. As a teacher I specialize in folk/bluegrass, classical, and classic rock styles. With a thorough knowledge of music history and technique, I am confident I can help to bring out the best musician and guitarist in a student. I can teach acoustic, nylon-string, and electric guitars; played with a pick or fingerstyle. I also am proficient on bass guitar. I have a degree as an Associate of Arts in music, focused in classical guitar. Prior to that, I performed in various bands and as a solo artist (which I continue to do). I've also paid close attention to the techniques of rock/bluegrass/country guitarists, such as Jimmy Page, Chet Atkins, Tony Rice, Bert Jansch, Steve Howe, Robert Fripp, Mick Ronson, Richard Thompson, Clarence White, David Rawlings, Mark Knopfler, and Lindsey Buckingham. Having taught both young and adult students, I believe that any student can succeed with enough determination.
