I have a background in both math and teaching, with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and masters degree in education. I've worked in education, data analysis, and teaching, but I most enjoy working one-on-one with students through tutoring. I work to help students realize how much they already know and give them confidence for mastering new math skills. I've helped students in traditional school improve their grades, and also served as extra support for students in independent study and homeschool programs. I can assist with homework questions, making study guides to review for tests, and guiding students on skills they need to work on to be successful.

Our 8th grade son had been struggling with quadratic equations in his Algebra course and Clare did an excellent job in explaining the concepts around these type of problems and how to solve them She was very patient and very encouraging and really helped boost our son's confidence in just one session. Looking forward to doing more sessions with this amazing tutor.
