Drums with Clare H.

I am a well practiced and taught percussionist and drummer, with an emphasis on hand drums and orchestral percussion. I studied with some of the best instructors in the state of Oregon, and was trained at Oregon State University. I played on the drumline for two years, one year on snare drum and one year on the cymbal line. I have played in concert bands, wind ensembles, community bands, and jazz ensemble. I enjoy listening to, playing and teaching all genres of music, and approach everyone with the utmost respect and empathy for your current level of musicality and education. I am compassionate, respectful, professional, and fun :) outside of teaching and playing music I am currently working as a board certified music therapist, and I used percussion instruments and hand drums in all my sessions. Rhythm drives me in my life and my music, and it is my passion. I work with individual of ALL levels and abilities, and can teach adapted lessons for individuals with special needs. I also enjoy hiking, camping, photography, and checking out all the beautiful state of Colorado has to offer in the local and national music scene. I go to see 2-3 concerts a week, and support my friends who play live music. Ask me anything :)
