Practice of daily meditation began in 2014 and I was slowly led into the practice of yoga. Meditation is one the final stages of the path of yoga.
In the beginning I was doing yoga asana (postures) for the physical benefits (fitness). Not only was it extremely uncomfortable to do, but I had pain scattered throughout my body. As i deepened my practice, not only did the pain melt away but my knowledge of meditation began to merge with the practice of yoga and I was deeply absorbed with immaculate bliss. My life has drastically transformed from a life of suffering to one that encompasses radiant peace and unwavering joy.
Yoga is for everyone, it doesn't matter what age or ailment you have, we can make it work and of course at the level that is right for you, which is one of the keys to keeping your desire to practice alive.
