A little bit about myself; I am currently on the voice faculty at the University of Redlands in California, where I have been teaching now for fifteen years. At the same time, I have maintained a private voice and piano studio in Orange County. Previously I also taught voice, as well as a voice class, at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert California. Straight out of high school, I became a member of the Young Americans, and was also fortunate to be accepted as a student at the Debbie Reynolds Studios in Los Angeles, where I enjoyed many years of dance and acting training with some of the most gifted actors and dancers who were working in the entertainment field at the time. While performing in USO Shows in Japan and Korea, I attended California State University at Fullerton where I received my Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Following my graduation from college, I enjoyed a successful singing career, performing over forty major roles in operas and musical theater productions, as well as appearing as the featured soloist in several orchestra and symphony concerts. I earned my Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Redlands, where I continue to teach as a member of the voice faculty.
