Learn Tai Chi From A Teacher With Over 10 Years Experience!
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice and is sometimes referred to as a moving meditation. It can help with high blood pressure, and is a great way to practice relaxation techniques. Tai Chi helps improve balance and flexibility. I have been teaching Tai Chi in the Taoist Tai Chi style since 2009, certified in set leading and beginner instruction. I can teach you two Taoist sequences - the 18 movement as well as the 108 moves. I usually recommend new students learn the 18 moves first, get this memorized and then move into the 108 moves.

Hi, there! My name is Cindy and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching since 1983! My passion is helping others and I love teaching. I am a certified Yoga and Tai Chi/Qigong Instructor. I teach both group as well as private lessons. I'm also an accomplished musician, earning a Bachelor of Music degree. I play both the clarinet as well as Native American flutes. One of my passions is combining my love of music with the practice of Yoga and TaiChi. You will find me approachable, comfortable being around and I like making lessons fun. I am an optimistic person and with over 35 years teaching I have a great deal of approaches I can use to get you to the next level. Whether you are looking to increase your flexibility, strengthen your body, reduce stress, achieve better balance or a combination I would love to work with you and I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

I've taken my initial three lessons with Cindy and have been very impressed. She's shown me some dynamic stretching techniques that were new to me, and has explained everything very clearly. I'm already seeing some clear improvement in the range of motion in my shoulders, although stretching gains generally take a while to see. Will definitely be taking more lessons!
