English (ESL) with Chukwuemeka E.

For more than 20 years, I have guided students to succeed academically and professionally. My students have gone on to become shape-shifters, administrators, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and seasoned professionals. It all starts with inculcating in students the idea that they need to be critical thinkers if they are to be change agents. Of course, the corollary to critical thinking is critical, active, intentional reading, with a view to attaining new insights and being able to rethink received truths. In a nutshell, the above constitutes my teaching philosophy.
