    About Christopher W. W.

    Christopher W. Waite attended Clarion University where he completed degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance, continuing his education in Music Education at Lebanon Valley College in Annville Pennsylvania. Waite studied voice with Mr. Milutin Lazich, Clarion University's director of choirs and professor of vocal studies. At Clarion, Mr. Waite also served as the assistant choral director for all university ensembles. Mr Waite has studied choral music with James Jordan, Rodney Eichenberger, Anton Armstrong and André Thomas. His studies in voice have taken him to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey with Thomas Farracco, The Metropolitan opera with Anthony Lacuira, and additional vocal work with Joan Frey Boytim and Dr. Susan Lyle Mr. Waite has performed as the tenor soloist in many oratorio performances throughout North America including; “Messiah,” Camele Saint-Saen's “The Christmas Oratorio,” Mendelsohn's “Elijah” and Schubert's Mass in G. On the stage, Waite has performed the roles of Stephen in “Godspell,” Father in “Children of Eden,” King Herod in “Jesus Christ Superstar,” Pirelli in “Sweeney Todd” and Lun-Tah in “The King and I.” Along with his roles on stage, Waite has directed musical theater productions throughout Pennsylvania and Florida and has sung with the York Oratorio Society, York Symphony Symphony Chorus St. Louis Philharmonic and the Harrisburg Oratorio Society along with The Pittsburgh Pops Chorale organized by Robert Page and directed by Marvin Hamlisch. Mr. Waite has served as the Chairperson of Fine Arts Departments in Pennsylvania and in Florida. He presently performs with the Palm Beach Opera, The Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches to name a few and instructs while residing in West Palm Beach, Florida.
