-Let's get this quote corrected- Rule that I learned and live by... TO BE EARLY IS TO BE ON TIME. TO BE ON TIME IS TO BE LATE. TO BE LATE IS TO BE ____. ( I was taught with the word DEAD but I will use IN TROUBLE) then sentenced to RUNNING LAPS or MANY MANY PUSH UPS. ...but that is marching band or drum corp. Too intense for some. I have been playing percussion for over 24 years. Schooled in the performance art of symphonic percussion, marching/drum corp percussion & world percussion. I am currently the percussion tech at Smithson Valley High School. Also, I have been performing live on stage and studio work on drum set for the past 17 years. Toured across the states recorded many c.d.'s and have even had songs on movie soundtracks. Working with 2 reggae bands out of Austin, Tx. The knowledge I have, about the many voices each percussion instrument has, benefits my students of the percussive arts. It is very important that percussionist are everywhere loving the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE of MUSIC. Let's work together to achieve your GOALS and BEYOND. *** Lesson Details *** Students will learn READING & WRITING of MUSIC. Very Important and easy to learn. Stick control & Technique. As well as Timing & Tuning. The first thing is to LEARN...no worries laughs will be shared as well. PERCUSSION is FUN ! ! ! *** Travel Equipment *** Student needs drumsticks or mallets/keyboard instrument if learning mallets. Practice Pad, music & music stand. (drum-kit) optional *** Specialties *** Marching, Symphonic, jazz, rock, hip-hop, reggae and country (all styles really) Much Respect each and every time.

very unprofessional. I was not late, but instead went to the wrong apartment. Instead of asking if I was running late or got lost, he sent me a riddle about being late: "To be early is to be one time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is to be in trouble." I'm an adult, I don't need to be told i'm in trouble. Rubbed me the wrong way.

Great with my son... My son looks forward to his drum lessons. Christopher's approach to teaching skills are opening my son's eyes to techniques for proper drumming which my son is receptiv to. Christopher has great with keeping on track his lessons being scheduled and has been flexible to work around our schedules.

Monday drum lesson We appreciate the work you've done with Jacob. He is practicing on his own which must mean he enjoys it. Jacob has one more week of drivers ed 10/3 and then we should be able to go back to 4:30. Thanks! Angie Collier
