About Christopher J.
I'm currently teaching clarinet, saxophone, and flute. During this pandemic, I am primarily doing virtual lessons.
I have 3 years of teaching experience, and I have been playing my primary instrument, clarinet, for 15 years. I graduated from the University of Mount Union with a BM in Performance, and I also graduated from Kent State University with a MM in Performance.
In lessons, I like to provide a healthy learning environment that allows the student to be challenged, but also have fun at the same time. I want each student to leave each lesson feeling motivated and confident to reach their weekly goals that I provide. My teaching style focuses on strengthening the fundamentals through a series of exercises that focuses on different areas so the student can track their progress. My goal for all of my students, regardless of career path, is to become an independent musician.

In my time working with Christopher, he was always professional and prompt. He is very easy to communicate with, and is always willing to help answer questions, big or small. I would highly recommend picking Christopher for any musical lessons!
