My approach to mandolin focuses on fun, uplifting music-making while developing good technique.  This allows for instant fun with simultaneous development.  In my lessons, we will cover mandolin playing as well as the mandolin's place in various ensembles as well as good jam etiquette that will make playing with others as fun and satisfying as possible.  My favorite styles include bluegrass, Irish, old-time, jazz, classical, and rock-n-roll. We will really nerd out on what makes the mandolin so special!

Hi there! I'm a lifelong musician with ten years of specific mandolin focus.  The mandolin has brought me great joy in connecting me with communities of musicians in all different styles and genres.  It's a fun little instrument, and I look forward in to getting started with you!
