About Christopher H.

Chris has been teaching private lessons on piano, guitar, electric and upright bass, and ukulele for over ten years. He graduated from MSU and performs regularly around Michigan and beyond. Chris is always accepting new students and has worked with students aged 6-90 on a wide variety of musical styles: Rock, Blues, Classical, Jazz, Funk, World, Klezmer, Folk, Punk, and many more! Chris generally begins with technique exercises that reinforce good habits and also works with students on scales, theory, and ear training-- all while learning songs!
