Hello! My name is Chris - I studied Classical Vocal Performance at the UMKC Conservatory of Music, graduating Cum Laude, and will began graduate opera studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston this coming fall. I have performed in operas, musicals, and recitals across the country and the world, from Kansas City to New York City to Salzburg, Austria. I myself am a bass-baritone, one of the lowest voices types by definition of the German fach system. Due to my classical training and technical understanding of the voice, I feel confident and comfortable in my ability to teach any voice type in any number of genres, whether it be classical, musical theatre, jazz, or even pop.
