As a professional drummer I have toured across the globe and have lots of great real world experience to share with you.  I am also a proud endorser of Q Drum Co., Paiste cymbals, Aquarian drumheads and Vic Firth sticks.

My teaching method always revolves around keeping things loose and fun.  However while we are working toward your goals (learning a specific drum pattern or playing along to your favorite band) I will be making sure that we are addressing important technique issues including dynamics, grip, posture and others.

Our lessons together can be customized any way you wish so no matter what your drumming goals are we can get there together.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello!  My name is Chris Carhart and I'm 34 years old.  I have over 20 years of playing experience and I'm currently available to teach in your home. As the drummer for Phantogram I have toured nationally and internationally playing small clubs as well as some of the most iconic venues in the world including Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl and the O2 Arena in London just to name a few.  I have also played on television shows such as David Letterman, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel.  I have tons of real world experience to share with you.  I enjoy curtailing lessons to my students needs in a no-pressure environment.  My availability can fluctuate due to my touring schedule so please contact me!  I look forward to hearing from you!
