I have been a singer all of my life, and I knew at a very young age that I wanted to pursue a musical career. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and my Master's Degree in Music Performance. I am a NY State certified music teacher, and I have taught music both as a sub and as a full-time teacher in different public and private schools. Personally, I have performed in musicals, jazz shows, and acapella competitions. I have a passion for all genres including broadway, classical, jazz, pop, acapella, and gospel. I have trained many students for their NYSSMA solos and am excellent at teaching sight-singing and solfege. During a lesson with me, my students can expect to have a lot of fun while learning proper techniques (breathing, vowel placement, etc.) I like to incorporate a mixture of songs you love/styles you prefer with songs you don't know/styles you never thought you could sing! It is my belief that a well-balanced singer should be able to sing in multiple genres to stretch their abilities.
