Master Biology and Gain Confidence with an Experienced Tutor!!

Hello, Friend! My name is Christine, and my mission on Take Lessons is to help you feel confident in your knowledge of biology! We all know how overwhelming it can be to jump head first into a new subject, or even revisit a subject you once struggled with; but biology doesn’t have to be overwhelming at all! Have you ever wondered why we see? Smell? Think? Why plants are green and the sky is blue? That’s why I love biology so much! Biology holds the answers to so many of the questions we ask ourselves about life- And we see examples of those answers all the time in our everyday lives! This makes biology one of the easiest sciences to relate to, and the most fun to teach in my opinion! My goal as your tutor is to help you to tap into your curiosity, explore all the concepts that biology has to offer, relate biology to your life and experiences, and help you feel confident and capable in your ability to conquer biology with an A!!

With over 3 years experience in tutoring Biology, I’ve helped countless students ace their biology classes and AP exams! I put a special emphasis on building confidence and good study habits that carry over to all forms of subject matter as you continue your education. I also hold the belief that learning should be engaging and fun! I have an associates degree in biology, graduated with a 3.9GPA, received a NASA STEM Fellowship and received funding for my own research in agricultural entomology as an undergraduate. So I know biology well, and I understand the common struggles students face! When we work together, you will gain mastery of the materials covered in our sessions along with increased confidence that can carry over to all walks of life.
