Piano with CHRISTINA J H.

I am a vocalist with a background in classical and opera. I am a graduate of both L.I.U C.W. Post and New England Conservatory's Opera programs, where I acquired my Bachelors in Fine Arts and a Master's degree in Music. I have had many performances with Long Island Lyric Opera, DiCapo Opera Theater in NYC as well as the Boston Symphony. Aside from my experience as a performer, I have taught voice and beginner piano privately for the past 22 years. I work as a public school music teacher and have for the past 15 years in NY and the last 10 years I have served as the choir director in the district's high school. I have conducted well over 40 concerts; some of which were performances at Carnegie Hall, Trinity Church, The Cathedral of the Incarnation and even the White House! My students have performed for many different audiences including government officials and dignitaries. Many of my private and public school students have gone on to pursue careers in opera and on broadway. I know with my background as a performer and my teaching abilities, I am able to achieve results so long as you are able to put the work in!
