About Christina E.
Hi, there! My name is Christina E. and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons for 15 plus years and have loved helping my students prepare for concerts, school auditions, and just learning music. I attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts high school and Queens University of Charlotte while earning a degree in Music Therapy and Psychology. I am calm as well as patient and my teaching style reflects that. I am excited this year to introduce WunderKeys for Preschoolers age 3-5. Why Wunderkeys – This method helps to encourage first experience in music lessons while helping to provide a long term enjoyment of the piano. The Method book is designed to be a one- on – one , 30 minute lesson that contains 10 lessons in each book. On average it does take a child a full school year to complete the program. Using the this method book it helps to build confidence, and solidify musical concepts. This is all done through songs and games. Also this year I will be focusing more on individuals that have special needs. As a Music Therapist I am able to adapt music lessons so that it is more teachable for those with special needs. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Wonderful first session! I definitely made the right decision by choosing Christina! She is knowledgeable and has great reassuring personality! ..Looking forward to my next lesson

Christina was a great teacher to my 8 year old daughter Alyce. We both miss her very much.

Christina is super patient with my teenage girls! Her gift has so graciously been translated into a new creative outlet for my girls! She has cultivated the art of teaching in such a way that my kids treat their lesson like a session. There's a sense if appreciation woven into the way Christina teaches that helps her students love what they are learning! Makes nagging the girls to do daily practice a non-issue! They love trying out what they've learned! Love, love Christina! She is truly a gem! -Shana W. (Cassie and Scotlyn's mom)

Our daughter Kimberly first volin lesson went great. Christina explained the different parts of the volin and how to hold the unit correctly. I do believe we will continue more lessons in the future. Marcus C.

Thank you Christina. Our daughter Kiante explain to us, the piano lessons were great. Christina is a very good listener and was patient with our daughter. Christina takes the necessary time to evaluate her students abilities. And is able to assist her students reach their full potential. Thanks again. Marcus.

Christina is an amazing instructor! She has introduced my two teenage daughters to classical guitar. They are doing so well and feel such a sense of accomplishment. Christina is patient, very talented and a true gem! We adore and highly recommend her!

I had a music background but came to Christina unable to sight read, or find my way back to playing comfortably. She selected perfect teaching material to train my ear as well as my eye to the sheet music. Her lessons are customized to the student as she works with them. They are progressive, building on each other in both subtle and obvious ways. In only a few months i'm sight-reading and have been introduced to a variety of music styles. I very much look forward to every lesson and more!

She is very patient with my son who has a learning disability.
She is 👍.great.

I'm a returning student after 40 years, convinced I no longer knew how to sight read and had no sense of rhythm. Christina selected exactly the right material to start me off with! The perfect combination of keyboard familiarity, progression thru different keys (I, IV, V etc in key of C, B etc), what 'resolved' sounded like, music time (4/4, 6/8), the cues for volume + tone. She tuned up my mind as well as my ear - I couldn't be more thrilled!

Great experience Alyce is eager to learn more
