With over fifteen years of vocal training, Christina has a diverse array of performance and teaching experience in musical styles such as Opera and Musical Theatre, to Contemporary styles. She specializes in comprehensive audition prep and teaches music theory and aural skills.

About Christina D.
I am a professional singer, voice educator, and songwriter. I received my B.M. In Vocal Performance (Classical) from New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. I perform a diverse variety of musical styles from my country band to church choir!
I am well-versed in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary repertoire and love preparing my students for auditions, competitions, and performances. I have been teaching private lessons and group voice and music classes since 2015. I have also been a music director and vocal coach for a variety of youth theatre productions and workshops.
I believe in developing a strong musical foundation for singers, incorporating musical theory and aural skills into lessons. I also teach beginner piano and love working with budding songwriters!
Whether you have very specific goals or just want to have fun while discovering your own unique voice, I look forward to meeting you on your musical journey!

Christina is a PHENOMENAL teacher! I highly recommend. She’s very observant and was able to identify specific areas that I can improve on as a singer. Better yet, she goes out of her way to create (and record for later practice) vocal exercises targeted to my weak areas. I appreciate her perspective on what songs I should try to sing; she has increased my confidence and helped me get out of my comfort zone.
I had seen Christina in-person before Covid in NYC and have continued to take lessons with her virtually ever since (she has been very flexible given the pandemic). No matter if we are in person or over FaceTime, the energy she brings to my lessons is one of the reasons I look forward to our time together each week!
