I've been playing brass for over 20 years, and have been teaching for about 20 years as well. I am married, have two young children and two cats. I'm so blessed to have had the opportunities to perform and travel as a musician, and I wouldn't have made it to this point with out the Lord's blessing and without people in my live teaching me, mentoring me, and supporting me. It took a lot of work to get to this point, and if you work hard you can get there too. We all start in the same place, which is, knowing nothing, and we go from there! I would be happy to help you to get there as well. Currently, I perform as the principal euphonium with the 40th Infantry Division Band of the Army National Guard, the principal euphonium of the Southern California Brass Consortium, and the principal euphonium with the Salvation Army's Western Territory Staff Band. I also play with my church brass band at the Salvation Army! I have experience performing as a soloist in San Diego, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Atlanta, Seattle, Norway, United Kingdom and most recently Angola. I've also performed in Alaska, Arizona, Denver, New York, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Germany. I enjoy playing in almost any medium from Brass Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Big Band, and even Bavarian Octoberfest Bands. I've also been known to play a little valve trombone in contemporary worship bands, but don't tell any slide trombone players that because they tend to get jealous! I have a passion for helping people grow and improve as musicians, whether you are 8 years old or 80 years old, or any age. We can all improve and grow!
