I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable music teacher specializing in drums and percussion. My approach is to treat each student as an individual with his / her own needs, interests and learning styles. My main goal is to cultivate inspiration and proficiency in every student. I have over 15 years of experience and have performed in a wide variety of settings including jazz trios, symphony orchestras and solo recitals. I have also earned a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from DePaul University in Chicago, where I studied with members of the Chicago Symphony. Whether you've been wanting to learn drums for awhile, are looking to improve your skills or would simply like to pick up a new skill or hobby, I am excited to help you achieve your goals!
