Christian is an encouraging teacher, who knows music techniques very well. He teaches very clearly and my daughter improves significantly under his guidance!
He's always in a good mood
Great first lesson as we got yo know Christian and vice versa. He taught as he had our students demonstrate what they could do during the first lesson!
So appreciate the time Christian took to learn about each student's ability and taking a moment to point out things to work on explaining it as they went. We haven't had specific teachers for each instrument...and I can see where that would have benefited! Thank you!+ Read More
He Is The Best instructor ever! USE HIM!!!
He's The Best instructor ever!!
I'm a teacher and performer and have had the pleasure of performing alongside Christian many times. He's a phenomenal musician and a solid professional.
he was awesome
Christian has helped my son develop his Saxophone skills as a new player. A clarinet player in the band for the last 4 years, my son wanted to learn the alto sax. He has enjoyed his lessons with Christian, who is punctual, friendly and communicates well with parents and students. My son commented the other day that he likes the range of skills he is learning, from jazz to classical style.+ Read More
He helped me read music. Escellent
My son (12yo) had his first tuba lesson with Christian last night and raved about him afterwards, continuing to talk about it again this morning. Very, very good instructor and highly recommended. He knows his stuff!
I was unsure how the online format would work for a music lesson but it was very effective and impossible to find a more convenient way to do it.
it hasn't started yet
Very patience with me and the strap and position..
Awesome first lesson.
Good time management. Great feedback and suggestions to improve and to have more effective practice
He is very patient, give very clear instructions and is very organised. A great instructor!
Christian was well prepared, remembered the conversations/texts we exchanged prior to the lesson. Christian was extremely effective and efficient with the time and the online lesson was even better than a real life one as I didn't need to commute (that saves a lot of time!). I am looking forward to the next lessons and see how this works on the long run.+ Read More
I've been pleased with my son's progress with Christian as a teacher. Christian is personable, encouraging and clear. My son really enjoys his lessons.
Christian is such a fantastic teacher--my daughter can't wait for her next clarinet lesson with him!
Really enjoyed my first lesson! Christian was efficient and patient, a great teacher.
Really efficient, good lessons, we are halfway through 1/3 of the books, and i've already learnt a (good) embouchure while playing the trumpet, several notes, high notes, low notes, how to read sheet music, how to transcribe notes from guitar>trumpet and vice versa, blues scale, a little here and there regarding music theory! High recommended.+ Read More
My son is been taking trombone lessons with him for a few months now, once you can figure out an schedule Christian is reliable and on time.
We really like him.
Christian is a great teacher. He is very willing to work with you from where your at instead of starting you back at the beginning. He is also very good about showing up for lessons and very reasonable about missed lessons. I would definitely recommend him for anyone trying to learn the trumpet.+ Read More
Wonderful teacher. Patient, helpful, and he packs alot of learning into a half hour. My daughter has come very far and looks forward to her lessons! Very happy with Christian!
Christian has been a fantastic instructor and mentor for our son who started playing trombone within the last 6 - 7 months. Christian has been extremely patient, focused on building confidence by mastering the fundamentals of an playing an instrument (scales, arpeggios, buzzes, sirens, etc.) an introduced pieces of music that challenged our son.
Very satisfied with Christian and would recommend for any students new to an instrument.
My son likes Christian. Christian is always on time and he is very encouraging. He is also knowledgeable.
Excellent instructor, very helpful & patient!
Christian is always on time, as scheduled, and if there are ever times he will not be able to attend, he is very disciplined about letting us know. He always follows up after lessons to let us know what my daughter should be practicing. He is a great communicator. My daughter really enjoys her lessons. I strongly recommend him as a teacher for anyone looking to learn the flute.+ Read More
Great lesson, good beginning tips, great book that he teaches with, and good teaching methods.
We only had our first lesson, but it was great! He was talented, knowledgeable and patient with my 12 year old. Looking forward to learning more!
Christian is an amazing teacher!
This is my son's first time taking online lessons and he loves them! Christian is always on time, motivating and great at his craft. I find my son practicing more than ever to be sure he's ready for the next lesson. I can already hear improvement in his playing after 3 lessons. Christian please keep up the great work...you ARE making a difference!+ Read More
It has been a wonderful experience having Christian provide remote lessons for our son Jesse. Had to look for a saxophone teacher for our son just after a year on he instrument because his school teacher (whom he really liked) left the school and the new teacher was not very good (for our son's needs). Decided to do online after not finding anyone local that was available on his schedule. I was a little skeptical about online teaching being an ex-musician, but I have been very pleased with how Christian manages online teaching. He uses some very powerful tools to manage and track our son's performance, and his remote lessons seem to be very effective despite the distance. I think the ultimate proof of how well it has worked was when our son's original teacher contacted us to say that she was doing private lessons now and could start teaching our son again. We asked him what he wanted to do and he said "I want to stay with Christian". To me that says it all!+ Read More
So patient and kind with my daughter as she is learning how to play the trumpet for the first time. A great teacher!!!
Christian is one of the best online teachers you could find. He's highly disciplined, and always maintains schedule. His teaching techniques shows his overall expertise in all his offerings. Christian is always upbeat and friendly. He always follows up after lessons to go over the areas covered and what the student should focus on prior to the next lesson. You cannot go wrong trying him out.+ Read More
We absolutely love Christian and we couldn't recommend him more highly. Alex was non-committal about learning any instrument and after two lessons was eagerly practicing every day. He loves it! Thank you!
I was nervous about the online aspect but my son had a great first lesson. He was organized and engaged my son who can be quite shy. We plan on continuing lessons with Christian for some time!
Lindee enjoyed her lesson
Christian is helping my son get ready for an audition. He is always prompt, my son says he gives good tips and feedback, and he emails me to let me know what he needs to work on and how it's going. We'll stick with it!
We are very glad we have selected Christian, and we are very pleased with the approach he has used to teach our son. Our son is new to the trombone and Christian is very patient and appropriately communicates constructive criticism to build confidence and endurance.
I would recommend Christian for any student that is new to music.
Great experience so far! My son enjoys the lessons and feels comfortable asking questions!

My 6th grade daughter has been taking lessons online with Christian since September. He is reliable, flexible, and very patient. Christian is encouraging but also pushes my daughter to challenge herself. Christian has motivated her to work much harder than she did through the school band alone; sometimes she will practice for an hour or more after her lesson because she is excited about her new material. We are thrilled with her progress. Thanks, Christian!+ Read More

My 11 year-old son is taking beginner tuba lessons with Christian. He was getting very frustrated in band but even after just a few lessons has improved significantly and is much more confident during band practice. Christian has shown a lot of patience with him and encourages him to progress rather than hang out and play what he is already comfortable with.
And as a mom, I LOVE Skype lessons. I was a little worried that the lack of 'hands-on' could be an issue but it is not at all. We started with just 5 lessons, but I anticipate many more:)
I had my first lesson on Saturday the 13th, I was in a lot of doubt about taking lessons on line. I was not setup for it all the way my lab top was not putting out no sound. I was saying to myself here we go half of my lesson spent on fixing mechanical problems, but that was not the case. Christian figured it out with no problem and before you knew it I was into my first lesson. Christian was great we went over some different things and I was playing again. It felt really good to be playing notes with someone there to critique your performance good or bad. My goa is to get better each week. Thanks Christain+ Read More

As an adult, I was looking for a clarinet teacher who was positive, personable, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Christian has definitely met my expectations. We have been doing lessons on-line via Skype until his return to NJ next month and it has been working out exceptionally well. Christian has been practical in his instructions, offering suggestions on such things as reed strength and the most efficient use of practice time. I'm sure Christian would be equally good with young students. Highly recommended!+ Read More
My 10 year son is taking weekly online lessons with Christian and looooves working with him. Exactly what your looking for
I've only been taking lessons with Christian for a month but let me say that I've improved more and learned more than I could've ever thought possible in a month. Christian is a down to earth guy, and isinvolved and patient in every lesson. He not only teaches you how to become better in the style of music that you plan on pursuing, but he focuses on you and your playing ability as a whole. For example I am planning on auditioning for music college and majoring in jazz in a few months and Christian not only teaches me jazz but he also teaches me classical increasing my playing ability entirely. He designs every lesson to fit your specific needs and is a people person who makes every lesson challenging but fun as we'll. If you are a prospective musician or even one who just wants to improve his or her playing on whole he is your guy. He'll teach you not only how to reach the playing ability you want but also how to teach yourself once you move on from his lessons. Just give him one lesson and he'll show you that you don't want to go anywhere else.
