Christian began studying music professionally at Fullerton Community College before receiving his BM from California State University Northridge for Classical Guitar Performance. He currently is attending the Thornton School of Music at USC where he will pursue his Master’s in Music. He has been teaching guitar for over five years and emphasizes fundamental music theory as applied to the guitar technique. His lessons are often energetic and playful without loosing focus of bringing out the inner musician of his students.+ Read More

I really appreciated the very detailed start to my lessons. I call tell Mr. Christian is a quality teacher.
He is a good teacher for kid. He is a good communicator and have a patience to young kid.
Last year, I had the opportunity to study with Christian at CSU Northridge. Christian is one of the finest musicians I have come across in the years that I have been playing music. Not only does he have impressive skills with the guitar, he also has knowledge in the history of the guitar and music theory. When he was studying at CSUN, I was able to have some lessons with Christian on a baroque piece that was giving me trouble. First, I'd like to mention how patient he was with me when I was frustrated and lost in the music. Also, I was surprised at how much he knew about the music as he explained what was going on in the piece and why. Oh... did I mention that I had some AWESOME results after ONE lesson??? Do yourself the favor and check this guy out!+ Read More
Christian has been teaching our two sons (Age 11 and 8) for the summer and has performed wonderfully as both instructor and motivator. His demeanor is excellent with the kids. And I greatly appreciate that he is teaching them music reading, music appreciation and music theory -- not just how to play the guitar. More importantly, the kids are having a great time.+ Read More
