My goal is help students to achieve their fullest musical potential. As a foundation for the lessons students will learn to read and write traditionally notated music. For more advanced students honing their ears and understanding of music theory will be a focus in addition to their playing.

I'm well versed in many different styles (classical, jazz, acoustic, rock, blues, funk, metal, etc) so they can expect a healthy understanding of each of these styles and more during our studies.

Hey there! I'm a professional musician and instructor from Long Island, NY. I received my Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance under the tutelage of the world-renowned Fred Hand at the SUNY Purchase Music Conservatory. 

Through my studies I've channeled my passion for jazz, education in classical music, guitar pedagogy, and experience in teaching contemporary music to gain a multifaceted understanding of the guitar. I feel this insight allows me a readiness for any musical situation and is exactly the kind of level of comfortability I wish to pass down to my students so they can be their best, uninhibited, musical self.

I’ve played with Christian for years and gotten a few lessons in the process. Christian is an easygoing, kind, and hilarious guy, and one of the most dedicated, professional, and tasteful players I know. As a teacher, he is patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and flexible in his approach. He’ll find new angles to explain the same subjects until he finds the right one that clicks with you.

This is just what I was looking for! Christian is a wonderful instructor. After only one lesson, I'm so thrilled as this is just what I need to help me progress. He's polite, friendly and patient. I'm very very happy!
