I am a working actor from Chicago as well as a member of SAG/AFTRA since 2009. Since graduating from Illinois State University in 2003, I hit the ground running and worked with Chicago Dance Crash for 3 years as a company member. I solidified my theater acting muscles for 4 years before moving to LA in 2007 and worked on 2 films, Heist and Ingles Ya in addition to national commercials for Soapnet, Gaterade and Pepsi, just to name a few. My most recent film, Markham Tactical premiered on August 6th in Chicago and will be debuting on the festival circuit in 2016. I also made my TV show debut in 2010 on Chicago Code. I followed that up with appearances on Mob Doctor, Crisis, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Empire. My theater work has included stops at Steppenwolf Theater, The Goodman Theater, Chicago Shakespeare, Timeline Theater, Lifeline Theater, Illinois Theater Center.+ Read More

I don't know about you (yes you, the one reading this), but I've been secretly wanting to act my whole life and am a full of life personality with hidden insecurities. Even though I have never really acted professionally, I have been theatrical and playing all sorts of characters, speaking in accents and dancing to everything in front of the mirror, in comfortable social gatherings and have even put on shows for my pets and husband! Last time I acted "professionally" was in a high school play. And even then, I mostly helped make the props!
I tell you this, because, with that kind of a background, nervous and yet SO excited to JUST TRY, I chose Christian as my teacher- my professor of Acting!
I am 3 classes in and Christian is very supportive, non-judgemental and extremely easy to learn with. I am impressed with his skills, his ability to immediately decipher something I'm trying to explain, and then how easy he makes it for me to put his constructive feedback into practice. The practice is not easy... because that stuff always takes hard work, but he explains it all so easily so I can start practicing and exploring the acting world. He is honest about the acting world, the people in it and the various steps it takes to get to wherever you are trying to get! So be honest with yourself and let this be an authentic and fun experience! Plus, it's so nice to talk to someone that actually gets what it's like to be dreaming!
As a student with zero acting experience, Christian is very patient and encouraging. Im learning a lot about analyzing a character/plot and always look forward to our next lesson.
For my first lesson we touched base on the foundations that I knew and gave me great insight.
Christian was easy to work with and helpful with his directions. Also, his flexibility with working with your schedule was a huge plus. I'm looking forward to continue taking lessons with him the future!
Great teacher .
Was very nice and patient with me, can't wait for next lesson!
He's a really great guy and he cares a lot about his students. My most favorite thing about him is that he has legitimate acting experience in television and film, and doesn't charge $30-$60 per hour per class. He is a busy man, but he always makes sure that he has time for his students. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to take up acting :)+ Read More
He's very straight forward and doesn't sugar coat things. To me, that's the only way you learn and I believe he understands that. I look forward to continue working with Christian in the future!
Absolutely loved it and feel he is the best teacher to get my goals accomplished!
Christian is a Great teacher. He has really helped me to understand acting.
Christian was without a doubt amazing and I cannot wait till are next lesson
Christian's disciplined practice in rehearsing and auditioning is one of the many useful tools he has to offer in his teaching. Whether a person is looking for guidance in auditioning or mastering an existing role, Christian can give them techniques based on their strengths and weaknesses. His methods of running lines, analyzing a character, and etiquette for an audition are invaluable assets for any student.+ Read More
Christian came to my school to work discuss with students what it takes to be an actor. He shared many insights he has learned along the way, and gave them a ton of information about the pros and cons of the industry. He was an extremely dynamic speaker and the student were highly engaged throughout the lesson. They were able to ask him questions and he answered them in ways they could understand. He was so amazing, I keep asking him to come back!+ Read More
