Hi! I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music '15 in Boston, MA, with a major in Songwriting. I have played the guitar for over twelve years and have over five years of professional performing experience on a national level. I am a co-founding member of The Western Den, an alternative folk group based in Boston. Together, we have released three albums and toured extensively throughout the US. I specialize in acoustic fingerstyle guitar, and am classically trained. I am well versed in teaching beginning to advanced guitar, in folk, rock, jazz, or classical stylings. I also specialize in alternate tunings, if that interests you. Additionally, I majored in songwriting and can help develop a student's ability in lyric writing, song structure, overcome writer's block with exciting strategies and prompts. We can also discover various writing techniques such as internal rhyme, assonance, and advanced chord voicings to help color your songs. I look forward to teaching you!
