Specialties: Composing, Arranging, and Music Theory Instruments: Trumpet, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Banjo I am a full time music educator at Tilghman's Academy of Music, an online music school. I previously worked as an instructor at Leading Note Studios in Southern California. I started teaching music in 2015. I studied music at Mira Costa College and I was the trumpet section leader in my high school marching band. I play guitar and bass for my worship team in church. I have played in musical theatre orchestras performing in "Singing in the Rain" and "Phantom of the Opera." I have performed in several jazz bands in my community as well. I compose band scores and orchestrations. I also tutor music theory. My goal is to keep students engaged. I have students with various learning capabilities. I work very will with students with Autism. Music should be fun primarily, but I also push my students in an encouraging way to reach their potential.
