Hi! Welcome to Take Lessons! Let me start off by saying that I love to teach singing and acting!! I specialize in teaching students from teens to adults but love teaching younger children as well. There is no better feeling than to see a student grow and better themselves artistically and personally. In addition to teaching singing and acting for over 10 years I have performed in numerous Broadway shows, West End shows, and National Tours throughout the US and Canada. I am presently a working actor. I received my education from the University of Michigan's School of Music. Whether you are a first time singer/actor or an established professional I love students who are excited to absorb new ideas and attempt to grow in ways they hadn't thought possible. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons are unique to each individual. I tend to cater my lesson plan to each students goals, experience, and age. I believe that there is no one way to teach or one way to learn. Trying numerous exercises and coming up with creative ways to help students assimilate new material and concepts is a core part of my teaching philosophy. Above all learning should be fun and exciting. I will do my best to create a safe open atmosphere where a student of any age level can succeed in achieving their learning goals.
