Chris has been playing the bass since the age of ten. He loves music and sharing has enthusiasm with students. Chris has been teaching students of all ages for seventeen years and is eager to share his skills with others. He teaches upright and electric bass, as well as music theory for students of any instrument. Chris' teaching style uses individual interests to tailor student-specific lessons.

Chris studied jazz at the University of Washington and has been a part of the Seattle music scene for over 15 years, playing many styles including jazz, classical, big band, and rock. He has played in the Issaquah Village Theater's orchestra for seventeen years and currently plays weekly in the Andy Coe Band.
