Classical Voice with Chris G.

Chris Georgetti can be seen nightly in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic Phantom of the Opera (1988 Tony Award Winner–Best Musical) at the Majestic Theater in New York City. Prior to joining the cast of Phantom, he sang with Sarasota Opera, Bronx Opera Company, Chicago Summer Opera, the Castleton Festival, the International Vocal Arts Institute, and Utopia Opera (NYC). In April 2017, he was a Semi-Finalist in the Marcello Giordani International Voice Competition in Charlotte, North Carolina. Chris has also composed two major classical works: No.1: The Christmas Requiem (2018),and No. 2: Dies Irae (2019). Both pieces will have their debut sometime in the future. Chris is currently working on a third project, a musical. Since the 2013-14 season, Chris also sings National Anthem from time-to-time for his favorite hockey team, the New Jersey Devils (National Hockey League). Chris went to Rutgers University…twice! He graduated with his Bachelor of Music degree in 2011, and his Master of Music degree in 2015. He studied voice with fellow Phantom alumnus, Christian Sebek.
