I am an experienced piano teacher and performer of 20 years, passionate for teaching and learning, and an advocate for music education both privately and in the schools. Along with teaching piano I have taught in the middle and high school setting, teaching band and choir. I bring a unique and personal learning experience to each and every student, and I emphasize performance, offering each and every student the opportunity to perform through recitals, and other public venues. My diverse experience as both an educator and performer bring to the table a wonderful learning experience to every student. I work with beginning and intermediate learners, and serve both children and adult learners. I specialize in classical, jazz, music theory, chord reading, and popular music.
