Hi! My name is Chris and I have been playing music professionally since 2003 and teaching since 1999. A recent graduate of the New York University Jazz Studies Program, I am currently accepting new students online and in the NYC area. I am available to teach lessons at your home, or online. I have worked with students from age 9 to age 70 and have taught all skill levels and learning abilities (I was even at one point a special needs one-on-one aide). I enjoy teaching students of all ages and skill levels.

When working with young students, I develop a structured individualized curriculum and provide comprehensive instruction in instrumental technique, musicianship, and music theory. With adults, I tailor a program to suit your needs and goals, both long and short term. We will work together to create a program that is not only fun, but maximizes your time spent during your lesson as well as time spent practicing on your own!

I have studied under Mark Turner, Chris Potter, Joe Lovano, Chris Cheek, and many others and developed my abilities in saxophone, improvisation, and composition/arranging (classical, jazz, rock, and pop). I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

Feel free to contact me should you have any questions about lessons or acquiring an instrument. I'd be happy to help you!
