I am a hardworking and passionate individual who loves music and loves teaching. I want to share my passion and interest for music with as many students as I can so that they can find new and different ways to express themselves. I love seeing students accomplish more than they thought they were capable of ever doing, and it is what keeps me passionate about teaching.

tl;dr: Chloe is an excellent teacher - patient, organized, effective Context: I'm a beginner adult flute learner and this is the first time I'm learning any musical instrument. I’ve been learning the flute with Chloe. She's been teaching me not just music, but HOW TO learn music. Every time I make a mistake, she has great insight into possible issues I might be having - which is REALLY hard to figure out while teaching online. She makes sheet music very accessible, and includes advice and resources on how to practice by myself, how to resolve errors, how to warm up and practice. I’ve never played an instrument, so she’s tailored her teaching to my specific context, which helps me learn much more effectively. Learning a new skill is an immensely rewarding as well as a very frustrating process, and she’s helped me be patient with the mistakes I make in the process. This in turn makes the classes low pressure, effective and enjoyable.

My daughters anxiety was high the first day of highschool for band. The students were seasoned and Lauryn had not practiced in months. Chloe eased Lauryn’s nerves and gave her the confidence she needed in just the 1st lesson! She’s awesome!
