I believe that true learning comes when the student is engaged and connected with the material. I love to use real-world examples when helping a student understand a concept, and help the student find the answer for themselves as opposed to being given the answers. Learning a language can be difficult, but with some encouragement and patience, I can help any student become confident in their Spanish skills.

I've been teaching Spanish and English for several years now - I taught Spanish for TK-5th grade for a couple of years, and I taught English in Mexico City to professionals for a while as well. I am currently back in school for Comparative Literature, and I love learning through narratives and story-telling. I'm very upbeat and easy going, and can always find a different way of explaining a difficult concept - patience is definitely a virtue of mine! My passion is story-telling and teaching, and I am so excited to help tutor you in Spanish!
