Cheyne Forgerson is the Dean of Music and Audio Supervisor at San Jacinto Valley Academy. He has over four years of experience developing and teaching in a successful music program in San Jacinto, CA, and eight years of teaching private lessons in the Inland Empire. As a Dean Cheyne has developed a music program that serves over 300 students in a K-12 setting. He has personally taught classes in Guitar, Elementary Music, Songwriting and Sound Recording, and oversees classes in Strings, Piano, Choir, Musical Theater, and Dance. Cheyne custom tailors his individual lesson curriculum to each student’s interests, and focuses on developing life-long learners through a love of music. Cheyne strives to make learning music fun and educational for all of his students. As an Audio Engineer, Cheyne runs a fully functioning home recording studio. Cheyne believes in providing his in studio students with recordings of their progress to motivate and inspire them. Cheyne recieved a Bachelors of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of Redlands in 2013, and a Masters of Music in Composition in 2016. He is currently a candidate for a Masters of Education. Cheyne lives in Menifee, CA with his wife Jocelyn.
