Pianist and collaborative artist Chen-Shen Fan regularly performs for audiences throughout North America, Europe and Asia, as soloist and chamber musician. His playing has been heard on WQXR in New York and WFMT in Chicago. He is a top prize winner of numerous competitions, including the International Young Artists Piano Competition in Singapore and the American Association for Development of Gifted and Talented Piano Competition in New York. These major prizes have led him to play his Carnegie Hall debut and a press conference showcase at Steinway Hall in New York City. Most recently, Chen-Shen was selected as one of the five fellows in Luminarts’ 2016 Classical Music Fellowship Competition, winner of the 2016 Evanston and North Shore Music Clubs Scholarship Competition and the first prize of the prestigious Thaviu-Isaak Endowed Piano Scholarship Competition. Currently, Chen-Shen is pursuing an Artist Diploma at the City University of New York in New York City.
