Flute with Chelsea S.

I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, and have 20 years of playing experience. I play both flute and piccolo, and have performed in a variety of ensembles, including, wind ensembles, orchestras, small chamber groups, and most recently, the Laguna Flutes. I have 13 years of teaching experience, ranging from students who are brand new to the flute to students preparing for their college auditions. I teach students to read music and help them understand basic music theory, and I can assist students of all levels grow their tone and technique. All of my students show improvement week by week, and I strive to aid students with their confidence and achieving their personal goals. I so often hear people say that they wished they had musical talent to play an instrument, but I always correct them - anyone who puts in the effort can absolutely learn to play and enjoy a meaningful and fulfilling musical journey.
